I’m planning on getting quite a bit of reading done in December. Here are the ten books I want to get to this month:
Read the World Books
As I stated in a previous post, I’m updating the rules of my #readtheworld challenge. Each month, I’m pulling three countries out of a bowl and reading one book from each of those countries. This month, I pulled out Dominica, Monaco, and Croatia.
- Croatia: Chasing a Croatian Girl: A Survivor’s Tale by Cody McClain Brown
- Dominica: Unburnable by Marie-Elena John
- Monaco: Two Plays by Armand Gatti
Books Chosen By My Boyfriend
I wanted to see what kinds of books my boyfriend would choose for me, so I asked him to pick out three. I’m pretty stoked with his choices:
- Inferno (The Divine Comedy) by Dante Alighieri
- Outer Dark by Cormac McCarthy
- Grimm’s Fairy Tales by Jacob Grimm
The Other Four
One of these (Outlaws of the Marsh) I started in November but I’m still just halfway through volume one of three, so I’m including it here.
- Outlaws of the Marsh by Shi Nai’an
- Heavenward by Olga Gibbs
- Trouble No Man by Brian Hart
- A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
